About Us
Youth Highland is the network of youth clubs and groups in the Highlands. The organisation has been in existence for over 30 years. Our offices are based in Dingwall, but we work right across the Highlands. We are affiliated to Youth Scotland, which in turn is affiliated to UK Youth and the European Confederation of Youth Clubs.
We are a membership organisation, supporting the development of voluntary and third sector youth work in the Highlands. We aim to support the delivery of quality community based youth work by delivering training, resources, and support for those working with young people, particularly youth workers and volunteers, and by creating opportunities for young people to access quality youth work provision and programmes of activity. As an area association of Youth Scotland, we provide access to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme, and an insurance service.
