Quality Youth Work Training Initiative

 

Youth Highland's Quality Youth Work Training Initiative provides high quality, relevant and practical training for youth workers and volunteers. The initiative is designed with volunteers and youth workers in mind, and courses are organised into two main themes: practical youth work delivery and youth group/club management

Youth Work Delivery:

  • Substance Misuse Awareness
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Child Protection
  • Food safety
  • Dynamic Youth Awards
  • Games and team building activities
  • Arts and Crafts activities

Youth club/group management

  • Recruiting volunteers
  • Effective volunteer management
  • Governance
  • Evaluation and Outcomes
  • Introduction to fundraising
